Hi all,
A friend of mine has accidently broken my 90 tail boom, drive shaft, main & tail blades, and yes he is still my friend  lol, my question is : Does anyone know how much longer the drive shaft has to be than the boom? I only ask because I have bought a SE boom & shaft and the the ends don't fit completely home on the shaft at both ends, it floats about 1cm, is this ok?
I don't want it coming out while flying as it could obviously be dangerous.

ere ya go, you can't see all the new items but they included, carbon tail boom, carbon tail drive shaft, tail blades, main rotor blades, and head bits.
I also bought a new JR 10 channel receiver, GY611 gyro with matching servo because my mate said the tail just let go so I thought i'd replace everything in that loop.
Worth it though she flies like a dream........til the next time? Undecided

Hi Bee,

a Raptor 60 is almost as big as a Raptor 90, the difference is the egine size.  The Raptor 60 uses an OS 61 and the Raptor 90 uses an OS 91 or Yamada 91.  On the Rap 90 you can use 690 or 710 blades and on the Rap 60 the 690 blades are recommended.  The front frame of the Rap 60 is somewhat smaller then the Rap 90's frame.  But not that much of a difference.

Hope this helps !

Grtz,
Dirk
