Thought I'd join in here - seeing as I just picked up my Rex600 from the carriers today  laughing

Might be a couple of weeks before I'm up and running but I'll be sure to trawl through the info in here to make sure I don't goof up.

Cheers,
Richard.

Hello 2 all .... Great informative site for Align T-Rex 600's.  Cool

I was reading a lot as a guest, and came to the conclusion that this would be a

cool place to get my feet wet in this size Heelo. I have a Carbon Fiber 600, not yet built  Undecided

I see about 2-3 days to assemble and fine tune to radio . Just waiting on some free time to spare.

Flying a Modified Walkera 62 which is smaller than a Trex by 4 inches or so. My R/C buddy has a 450 SE V2, and

that bad boy is smoother & easier to fly. So I opted for the Big boy 600 to build myself.  Grin

BTW Great site Symon - Thanks

This looks like a great bunch of electrifying guys. I've just returned to the hobby after 10 years. (WOW)!! My 600 is stock on 6s and yes it did catch on fire (ESC) But Align replaced everything that was damaged. I'll check back often.
Thanks Dave

Welcome to the forum electricdarr...and please keep visiting...you're very welcome Smiley

As for your fire....gutted for you. You must be in the US for Align to replace the parts?

I got rid of using the ESC in favour of a Jazz one out of fear of this. Although...I had around 100 flights on it so I think it's safe to say mine was a good one.

The Align ESC has been (IMHO) the only real downside of this heli.

Welcome back to the hobby fella Smiley  What a way to start!
