Has anybody else been following the Trex 500 nitro thread on RR.

It seems the conversion kit will be available very soon.

I wonder how long it will be for Align to release this kit their self?

It looks like a pretty clean conversion too.  I don't have a 500, but it looks like they're even using and existing elevator servo slot for the throttle. Smiley

On the other side to where the ele servo goes there is an existing slot there,straight in.

It looks so simple,it is a conversion I'm strongly considering,just waiting for the reports to come back as this is drawing HUGE  Shocked attention

Apparently lighter and more power than the E Huh

Looks like a clean conversion although this is NOT an official Align 500N.

They've made their page look like an official Align layout.

Still, a dam good idea and it genuinely looks well made.

I think the estimates are around 8 1/2 mins due to the restriction on the size fuel tank that they can get in the frames so that is probably around 10mins or more for us mere mortals not doing hard 3D.
It does look well made and clearly well thought out also.

I bet that if this is a success Align will have one out very shortly.
