Hi,
I'm considering adding one of these small birds to my fleet. Anyone had both and does one stand out above the other? At the moment I'm leaning towards the GAUI, it looks to be a quality machine and would be good to have something a bit different to my trex's ( I have 2 450's and a 500)

Thanks

I don't have a Gaui but have flown one at a LHS that's owned by a friend of mine.
I do have a Rex250 (16t pinion, GY-520 gyro)

Personally I think the REX is a better quality machine and flies a lot better. The Gaui (at least the one in question) is not nearly as stable, powerful or quick as the Rex. The Align heli is almost *Beefy* in comparison.

The other issue would be parts availability. Here in ths states you don't see many Gaui parts while Align parts are everywhere.

That's my 2¢

Cant comment on the Gaui but the 250 is great.Keeps your wits about you but I love it.

If the Gaui is half as good as the 250 you wont regret buying either Thumbs Up
