Velocity 50 failures

Just before this was released all I heard was how much better than Align this heli was for the same sort of price.

Now all I see on all the forums is more failures of one thing or another.So is it already starting to show where they skimped on the so called quality parts to try to muscle in on Align's market hold??

I hope not as the more I see this heli the more I like it but if it was truely a quality heli (heard it been compared to a Vibe 50 in terms of quality ) then surely we would not see this many failures.

These failures are still happening on batch 2 kits.

Recently Rambo got one and has not got it flying right since it has had its maiden.Still not sure what is causing the quite dramatic tail wag.But then another friend of ours has one and from what I'm aware has had no issues and is really enjoying it.

Its not a case either of isolated failures they are popping up slowly but unfortunatly surely.

I know its still early day and most even the best have issues on release but this is showing to be no different to Align,oh except they give out the nesscessary updates free

It's worth keeping an eye on it for sure.

A company the size of Align can absorb bad press and reputations they get on 1st/2nd (and 3rd at times) batch new models...but companies like Outrage may be permanently damaged by it.

Let's hope they iron the things out quickly but it's good that they do the free parts on necessary upgrades rather than burying their heads in the sand and letting retailers take the hit

  Had my velocity since January and have had no issues with it, i did uprate the boom stays swoped fo raptor ones,
Still waiting for the tank upgrade this seems to be a bit slow coming but can live with that.
