Hi Guys,

Crashed my little 250 the other night  Boom!
I have repaired her, but now she wont start. The engine just gives a few kicks and im hearing no "beeps" form the helicopter.
Can anyone help me in narrowing down wether i have a blown BEC or a Blown Engine, is there any way to tell ??

Thanks & Merry X-Mas..

Cheers

Craig

So the RX is getting no power? You could try hooking the RX up to a RX battery pack.

If your getting no beeps and there is power then I would think the ESC is fried.

Have you rebound to the rx.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your help.
I have power to the RX, all my servo's work fine and gyro is working.
When i connect power to the 250, there are no beeps at all and when i move the throttle stick up the engine makes a few very small little kicks, as if it wants to go, then stops until i reconnect power to try again.

I realize i can just replace both Engine and BEC to fix it, but that way im not learning anything.

Cheers

Doesnt matter what i do, im not getting any beeps at all from the motor, so i cant even tell if im in programming mode on the ESC.
I guess after all this, that i now know the electric motor is Dead as a Doornail.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Did you set the pinion to main gear mesh properly, you don't want it too tight

Just an update,
I purchased a brand new engine for the little 250, installed it and same deal, no beeps at all.

Brand new ESC on the way.  Oh well, least i have a spare engine for next time...

Hi Jamin,

Sure did.
After i installed the new engine it still wouldnt go. So i ordered a new esc and, Bingo, away she went.
I really must have fried the original esc good.
Also a good lesson for me on narrowing down problems for the future.
Thanks for asking

Cheers
