Hi George,
in the February issue of the Rotor ( a German heli magazine) an introductory price in Germany of  Euro 139.99 has been advertised. It does not seem to be clarified yet if the USB interface is just for a hardware update or also for further 'programable options' via PC.

Cheers,
Rainer

The system is obviously developed/supported by Freekware - the German Align Distributor - as they own the domain BeastX.com

Price was on confirmed to be around 150€  and availability is scheduled for end Feb/March 2010. They are going to present it to the "public" on the German toy fare next week. Guess we will see more info soon Wink

It obviously has some killer specs (Fast CPU, MEMS and Spektrum satellites)  for a unbeatable price tag. This will definitely create some noise  in the FBL market and should help to bring the prices down.

Just ordered one for 136€ .. that's actually less than most gyros  Two Thumbs Up

Should arrive by end of February  Cool

Not sure yet if it will replace the  SK360 on the 500 or find a home in my Rave  Huh
However my spare box will fill up with more gyros soon

Here is a pic of the Best

The pricing does indeed look very attractive, does anyone know if the Beast will do stabilisation as well (i.e. auto correction/ "bail out" for beginners or AP applications) or just flybarless control?
