I'm fairly new to this but have gone on a step curve last 12 mts, fly at least 4 times a week, up to the loops, rolls, stalls, some inverted, some backwards, some tic tocs stage. Futaba 8FG Super, Trex 500(secondry chopper), Trex 550e(main chopper) both have a flybar. My question is what would be the point spending $400+ on converting to flybarless?? Don't get me wrong, I love gadgets, but my 550 flies so well, I can't imagine how a rc heli could be more stable? so apart from the small gain in flight time and less crash parts to replace, why? The blockes I fly with are always at me to change. I'd rather spend the money on a Kontronik ESC for my 500 at make it really reliable and have an effective governer.
Can someone elighten me. Is there something I'm missing!!
